Each year, GAOR proudly champions charitable giving within our community, with special emphasis during the season of giving. During the 2025 CanTree event, GAOR raised $33,000 for three vital local charities of YWCA’s Battered Women’s Program, the Salvation Army of Glendale, and the Glendale Police Foundation’s S.T.A.R. Kids program:
- YWCA Battered Women’s Program: Providing essential support and resources for victims of domestic violence in Glendale and Pasadena.
- Salvation Army: Delivering a wide range of social services and support to those in need within the local community.
- Glendale Police Foundation, S.T.A.R. Kids program: Supporting positive development and educational opportunities for local youth — Students Training as Role Models.
How Funds Were Raised
This year’s success was made possible by fundraisers, silent and live auctions, raffle ticket sales, and the incredible generosity of our sponsors, contributors, and guests. Such collective action enables significant and lasting impact on vital community services.
