Coming Soon Comes To An End

Coming Soon listings will no longer go to IDX feeds This CRMLS Board decision went into effect on January 5, 2022 Starting on Wednesday, January 5th, CRMLS will no longer send “Coming Soon” listings to IDX feeds. Websites that use IDX feeds will no longer display or receive data about “Coming Soon” listings. We’ve made this change to be more consistent with other MLSs that CRMLS has data share agreements with. Keeping IDX feeds the same throughout CRMLS and other California MLSs prevents data discrepancies and other challenges. Beginning January 1, 2022, residential landlords shall provide this booklet to prospective residential tenants prior to entering the rental or lease agreement, in accordance with the 2001 Toxic Mold Protection Act (HSC #26148). This booklet, which explains the potential health risks and health impacts that may result from exposure to mold, was produced by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) in 2020, in both English and Spanish versions. Some of you may be familiar with Matrix while others have primarily used i-Tech MLS. Matrix has a number of features and benefits built in, and you will have many opportunities beginning in January to learn and ask questions through training programs in person, webinars, on-demand videos, how-to articles and more. On December 31st, older Supra eKEY apps will no longer function. To ensure you maintain access to Supra Lockboxes, please update to the most recent version of the eKEY app as soon as possible. The latest version of the eKEY app requires your device to use one of the following operating systems: Apple iOS 12 or later. (Not sure which version you have? See Apple’s guide.) Android OS 8 or later. (Not sure which version you have? See Google’s guide.) Although most devices in use today can run the latest version of the eKEY app, there may be some older devices that may not be able to update to this version. This means that a very small percentage of people may need to upgrade to a newer device. Masks are Required at Open Houses and Showings Regardless of Vaccination Status

Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 15, by order of the California Department of Public Health, masks are required to be worn in all indoor public settings, regardless of vaccine status. The key requirements of the statewide order are:  Masks are required at open houses and showings regardless of vaccination status The order will be in effect statewide beginning December 15, 2021, through January 15, 2022, at which time it may be extended Local cities/counties may continue to have stricter mask requirements In workplaces, employers remain subject to the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS) but clients are required to wear masks if visiting any real estate brokerage open to the public This order supersedes all prior face covering guidance

There were plenty of reasons that the proposed creation of a rental registry was bad news for Glendale, the third largest city in Los Angeles County. It was not only unnecessary, it was going to be costly, cumbersome, and, most alarming, it would expose personal data to public scrutiny. The Glendale Association of REALTORS® understood all the complexities of the threat, and why it was so important that the measure be defeated.
