All the late hours and impromptu meetings paid off for what we hope was an informative and worthwhile meeting. We hope to be together next year, in person and possibly streamed for those who are unable to be with us in person. Veteran's Day - Holiday - Office Closed

Veteran’s Day! GAOR Office Closed

We honor all those who have served to build our nation and defend our liberties. The GAOR Office will be closed Wednesday, November 11th. We will not be hosting a Town Hall Meeting this week. More importantly, we Americans can not give enough for the sacrifices made in defense of our liberties that we sometimes can take for granted in a democracy.  It is important to be reminded of this patriotic holiday.   Our thoughts, prayers and support are always with those who have served and continue to serve our nation.   Enjoy the holiday and send a BIG thank you and a virtual hug to anyone you know who has served or is serving our imperfect union for the greater good. ...

Letter from GAOR on the Values of Justice and Fairness

Dear REALTORS®, Just a week ago we were sickened as we watched, as did many of you, the death of an African American man caused by police misconduct. It was so outrageous, that many other police agencies, including the Glendale Police Department, disavowed the actions of the Minneapolis officers and reaffirmed the need for trust and dialogue with the community. This weekend the resulting protests all over the United States – individuals exercising their right to free speech with the support of local police – were marred by violence and looting from others taking advantage of the moment. Glendale and Los Angeles County remain in a state of emergency with curfews in effect. The GAOR building at 124 S. Isabel St. as of today has not been subjected to violence or vandalism, and more importantly, we are grateful that GAOR members and staff are staying safe. We are all...
