Glendale is happy to launch our first State of the Market.  Admission is free and breakfast will be provided. Doors open at 8:30 am to allow time for members to dine and mingle.

Our keynote speaker will be Jordan Levine, VP, and Chief Economist for the California Association of REALTORS®.  Jordon will give a presentation on the local economy for Glendale and neighboring cities (Burbank, Pasadena, La Canada, Sunland, Tujunga, and Shadow Hills).  His presentation will be followed by a Q & A session. 

We will also have other officials in attendance.  More information to come in the coming weeks.

Jordan Levine

VP and Chief Economist, CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®

Jordan Levine is the Chief Economist at the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.), a statewide trade organization of real estate professionals with more than 190,000 members. Jordan helps to oversee all housing market research at C.A.R., including market statistics, survey research, industry trends, and policy analysis for C.A.R.’s legislative and governmental affairs efforts. He regularly writes and presents on a wide range of topics including housing market trends, housing affordability, homeownership, housing policy, demographics, and the economy.

Jordan has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s degree with Merit in International Economics from the University of Sussex. Before joining C.A.R., Jordan worked in consulting as an economist and director of economic research. He oversaw all research and economic analysis on California’s economy and housing market and regularly spoke to trade groups, public officials, businesses, and the media.
