Fraud Subject Matter Expert
Edward Navarro began his career in Real Estate as an escrow officer in 1989. In January 1999, Ed started Action Escrow Inc. and continues to manage it successfully to this day.
Upon the mortgage meltdown, Ed began volunteering his time with his Local Police Department. In 2008, after a chance encounter with a Detective from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, Ed was soon recruited to work with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department – Fraud and Cyber Crimes Unit.
In 2013, Ed earned the title of Certified Real Estate Fraud Instructor by the State of California Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T).
Ed has taught over 500 State and local Police Detectives, as well as being a featured speaker for the F.B.I.
Edward also belongs to the California Association of Deputy District Attorneys, the Los Angeles County District Attorney Real Estate Fraud Task Force, and various Escrow Associations.
Ed lives in Los Angeles happily married raising two teenagers.
