Buyer Representation with Karen Van Ness - May 30

May 30 @ 9am – Buyer Representation with Karen Van Ness

GAOR is providing our members free access to experts who are very knowledgeable about buyer representation in this ever-evolving real estate landscape. We have already provided online sessions delving into the changes in the Buyer Representation form by both your 2024 President, Sevak Sohrabian, and a Past President, Rick Bonyadi.

Next, we will have Karen Van Ness as a guest speaker in person! Karen will help bring into focus key information and skills you need when working with buyers.

We trust this “in-person” discussion will better prepare buyer agents to demonstrate and articulate their value and help home buyers understand the written buyer representation agreement by demystifying and securing it. This session will empower real estate professionals to effectively explain the agreement’s nuances to potential buyers while delving into the possible financial scenarios to represent buyers successfully in their purchase transactions.

About Karen

When Karen was 17 yrs. old she purchased 2 houses and 5 acres of land to rent out. That was the beginning of her love for real estate. She then was taken under the wing of a real estate brokerage owner and taught the fine points of “client representation”. 43 yrs. have passed and her love of real estate has only grown. She is (some say) ridiculously passionate about real estate. She was one of the original agents on the Zillow Agent Advisory Board and currently sits on the Professional Standards Committee at the San Diego Association of Realtors after spending 3 years on the Grievance Committee. Karen’s experience in real estate has taken her from Northern California to Southern California, and Paradise Valley to Scottsdale, Arizona.
