The monthly Commercial Real Estate Forum met on September 14 for the latest fresh insights about commercial real estate trends in Glendale and the Greater Los Angeles Area.
At the September meeting the group was addressed by Broker Nicholas Hacopian and Property Manager Allen Hacopian of Glen West Management & Realty located in Glendale. The speakers presented economic data and discussed market trends that impact their portfolios and also have an effect on other commercial real estate practitioners and investors.
Despite projections of economic uncertainty, the speakers anticipate some growth in multifamily housing together with a reduction or smoothing out of vacancy rates over the next five years. The discussion included projections of rising risks in the multifamily sector including increases in operating costs, ability to obtain suitable insurance, and legislation.
