Supra Service Hours at GAOR

Most Supra services and payments can be handled online or over the phone. However, in some cases, you may need to come to the office. Due to local regulations, we must limit staff hours in the building. With this in mind, please adhere to the following: Call or email us in advance and make an appointment to come in. The appointment windows are Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. only. Please do not be late or come to the building outside of these times. Do not show up without an appointment. If you miss your appointment time then reschedule with the staff to come in during the next appointment window. If you have a major emergency and need a Supra box right away, contact us. NEW | NAR Implicit Bias Training Video for Members & Associations:

As part of its commitment to addressing racial injustice in America, the National Association of Realtors® has begun circulating a new 50-minute implicit bias training video to its members and association staff. Partnering with the New York-based Perception Institute, NAR’s online video draws upon recent research to illustrate how the human brain’s automatic, instant association of stereotypes with particular groups can cause people to treat those who are different from them unfairly. Clear Cooperation Policy Implementation – GAOR i-Tech MLS Enforcement

Dear Members, As you know by now, NAR’s Clear Cooperation Policy has been in effect since May 1 of this year. At GAOR, we held a grace period up until August 1 during which we were not issuing violations. In keeping with NAR’s requirements, GAOR is now issuing violations notices and potential fines. GAOR Establishes an Annual GoFundMe Campaign

Beginning in 1995, the S.T.A.R. program was designed for at-risk children between the ages of 9 and 14. Most are from low to moderate-income families in South Glendale. Students enter the program recommended by teachers, school administrators, and others. Typically, STAR has 12-20 children enrolled in the program. Many come from impoverished family situations, single-parent homes, or those without nurturing parents or families. GAOR’s 2020 President Steven Small delivered the State of the Association address at our Annual General Membership Meeting on July 15, 2020. Good morning and welcome to the 2020 General Membership Meeting for the Glendale Association of REALTORS®. As a part of this meeting it is my role as your president to share with you the state of the association. As you know we have all have major challenges this year that no one could have anticipated. However, thanks to everyone’s dedication, resilience and flexibility we are in a strong position as an Association to move forward into the last half of this year and into 2021. The Association Our member count is 1,610 which includes active REALTORS®, secondary members and affiliates. The i-Tech MLS member count is 1,343. One Thing Every Listing Agent MUST DO To Ensure CRMLS Users Have Access To Your iTech Contact Information With CRMLS, we have created a workaround to ensure that our agent’s profile information is transferring to, displaying in, and ultimately printing from CRMLS.  In short, here is what YOU need to do to ensure your contact information appears with your MLS listings in CRMLS.  Below are screenshots as a visual aid. Type in your contact information into each of your listings. Complete the Contact Order/Contact Phone 1 thru 6 fields, in part or in whole. These fields can contain an email address in addition to phone numbers. This is an example of how your contact information will appear in CRMLS if you DO NOT add contact information in the Contact Order/Phone fields. Letter from GAOR on the Values of Justice and Fairness

Dear REALTORS®, Just a week ago we were sickened as we watched, as did many of you, the death of an African American man caused by police misconduct. It was so outrageous, that many other police agencies, including the Glendale Police Department, disavowed the actions of the Minneapolis officers and reaffirmed the need for trust and dialogue with the community. This weekend the resulting protests all over the United States – individuals exercising their right to free speech with the support of local police – were marred by violence and looting from others taking advantage of the moment. Glendale and Los Angeles County remain in a state of emergency with curfews in effect. The GAOR building at 124 S. Isabel St. as of today has not been subjected to violence or vandalism, and more importantly, we are grateful that GAOR members and staff are staying safe. We are all...
